Healthcare environments need to accommodate the practical demands
of a working clinic while providing a welcoming space for patients
and visitors. Reception areas, waiting spaces, consultation rooms
and treatment areas each serve a different purpose, and their
relationship to one another is an important consideration in the
overall layout.
Doma Development approaches commercial interiors by considering
how the different spaces, finishes and construction details come
together to support the intended use of the facility.
Clinic construction involves more than the appearance of the finished interior. The layout needs to reflect the activities carried out in the space, while the construction work and relevant building services need to be coordinated around the project requirements.
Attention to these elements helps bring consistency to the finished environment, from the areas patients first encounter to the spaces used by healthcare professionals throughout the day.
Every healthcare project has its own requirements, depending on the facility, the existing premises and the proposed use. Doma focuses on understanding the project scope and coordinating the construction activities and finishing details needed to bring the space together.
